Frequently Asked Questions- Answers

What if my animal eats grass?

  • Many dogs eat small amounts or grass regularly, only for it to be vomited usually a few minutes later. It is thought it is eaten to relieve an excess of digestive juices which accumulate in the stomach when it is empty. Fine grass acts as roughage in the diet. If it is aan inconvenience, it may help to give two or three small meals a day rather than one.
